Motion Research

 For week 4 a bunch of us met together to try to figure out what type of motion tracking could we use to track the position, we went into the mocap lab which was neat but ultimately I think that the limitations in design that using mocap trackers would have, could be limiting for what we want to do, its still the most precise but who knows for now.

My job however is trying to check if there is an easy way to track position into other programs, Vicon has this datastream software and script that allow us to have a conversation with other software.

Alternatively Yash is saying that Kinect (our alternative) can easily communicate and feed information into whatever software we end up using, either way I'll have to write code that outputs MIDI info to put into VCV, but we'll see.
